Demoiselle
The Demoiselle, Straight out of the movies!!
An all wood plan with plenty of pizzazz! With a span of just
over 80 inches and a chord of 24 this barnstorming beauty will WOW the crowd an
any filed or flying! Powered by a two cu. in. gas burner, (we used an OLD, Q35
with points yet!) and only three channels of radio you might even be able to
recreate that flight across the English Channel!! :) Originally designed by
Santos Dumont to be made from bamboo. We have substituted Pine and Cedar as the
preferred material for the fuselage with Balsa being used for the two
piece wing and tail plane! Speaking of tail plane the horizontal and vertical
stabs move in unison to create a very unique control surface!!
