An all new center balance easy to carry charger case able to have two attached balancing chargers, charger battery, space to carry your volt meter, connection for your engine starter, storage for your charging cables
After many years of dragging that bag around with all my chargers, cables and even that heavy charging/starting battery I decided it was time for a change! I wanted something that with the charging battery installed remained balanced! So many of the previous charger/field boxes had the battery on one end and when carried, was always banging against my leg or airplane
Balance! I began with the layout. Placing the heaviest parts in the center, keeping the center of gravity on the box as near the bottom as possible!
Glare! Then the mounting point for the chargers, not flat on top and not straight up and down on the sides both of these cause an inordinate amount of glare when trying to view the charger readouts! An angle of 40 degrees was found to offer the easiest readability outdoors with minimal amounts of glare!
Strong! The bottom of the Han-D-Charger is cut from 1/2 in birch veneer plywood, not that flimsy 1/4 or 3/8 ply or particle board! Substantial enough to carry any battery that will fit in the compartment!
Storage! There are 2 holes on each side and end of the Han-D-Charger. This will allow you to store all your charging cables with space left over!
Comfort! I was really tired of carrying my old flight box with that little 1/2 inch diameter dowel handle! So the Han-D-Charger has a handle with a full 1 inch diameter and it can swivel back and forth while you carry it to make it easier on your hands!
